20th Seminars Week

From 23 to 27 November 2026, the Department will host the 20th edition of the International Seminars Week, titled “Towards a Critical and Responsible Use of AI in Professional Practice”.

What is it about?

Professionals and scholars from around the world are invited to give lectures and workshops on topics of interest for all degree programmes. Students are warmly encouraged to participate. Each 6-hour seminar is worth 1 credit (CFU).

How can I participate?

To attend the seminars, you must register using the official online form:

Note: If you miss the registration deadline, you may still attempt to attend in person; admission will be granted subject to seat availability, though entry cannot be guaranteed. Classes for certain degree programmes will be suspended for specific seminars (as indicated in the individual seminar abstracts). In any case, all students are welcome to attend any seminar and earn the corresponding credits.

How can I earn credits (CFU) for seminars?

To earn credits (1 CFU per 6-hour seminar), students must:

  1. Attend the full six-hour seminar session.

  2. Sign the attendance sheet during the sessions.

  3. Complete the relevant assessment task.

Credits will be recorded by the buddy professor during the first available exam session. Remember to register for the relevant exam session!

Which seminars might be of interest to me?

Seminar topics are categorized using the following color guide:

  • Blue: Seminars relevant to the areas of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

  • Red: Seminars relevant to Education and Pedagogy.

  • Green: Cross-disciplinary seminars relevant to all students.

Note: These color codes serve only as a guide. You are welcome to attend any seminar of interest, regardless of your degree programme.
