Webinar “Digital scholarship: how technologies are changing the research process”
Prof. Laura Fedeli, MSc, PhD
Associate Professor, University of Macerata, Italy
Dr. Łukasz Tomczyk, PhD
Lecturer, Pedagogical University of Cracow, Poland
Being a researcher in the digital age implies the need to acquire new perspectives in terms of research legitimization, dissemination and curation. Those attitudes, which requires an effort in direction of specific training for faculty development, embrace values and ideologies of the ‘open access’ trend and recognize the impact of collaborative practices and the efficacy of networking processes for both the research process and the outputs.
The topic will be explored by addressing different dimensions: areas of competences for digital content curation, web and peer review alternative processes, and the researcher identification, visibility and reputation in the digital world.
