SHORT DESCRIPTION:
The project aims to empower women entrepreneurs, support women's career transitions, and foster leadership skills development through an approach based on research, digital training, and structured mentoring.
Key outputs:
The project will produce a research report based on focus groups with at least 32 stakeholders across 4 countries, a Skills Matrix mapping key competencies for women's entrepreneurship, and a mentor-mentee database. A multilingual e-learning platform will be developed on Moodle with training modules on upskilling and reskilling in 5 languages. A Mentoring Guide and an online training programme for mentors will be created, implementing a "triple mentoring" model (1 mentor + 2 mentees from different sectors) that will produce at least 12 co-created business plans. Finally, policy recommendations will be developed and sent to the Chambers of Commerce in the partner countries.
Expected outcomes:
By adopting a participatory, co-creation approach, VoWoCo aims to transform women's entrepreneurship from an individual struggle into a shared, collaborative journey that fosters empowerment, resilience, and gender equality. Through structured mentoring and cross-sectoral collaboration, the project promotes new ways of acquiring and applying entrepreneurial skills, ensuring accessible upskilling and reskilling pathways for women transitioning into the workforce and revitalizing their businesses across evolving labour market contexts.
